Topic: how does the abuse tag work?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I want to blacklist this tag but I noticed I have one favorite tagged with it. It contains themes of degradation and bdsm, but nothing explicitly indicating abuse. So is this the right usage of abuse on e6? post #3325271

If we use the actual definition then any of my favorites that are tagged with the rape or unwilling_vore tags would be tagged with abuse too. But it seems thats not how its used on here.

What I personally do is have "-fav:me" and "-(my own artist tag)" on all of my blacklist entries.

I think we tend to use abuse in more, like, domestic situations, I guess, and/or in situations where it's more sustained. stuff that's more, I guess, viscerally uncomfortable in theme, rather than just plain violent.

either way, I don't really see any reason that the linked post should be tagged abuse.
