The tag alias #72435 short_pants -> shorts has been approved.

Reason: this one is just baffling. why.

I go for short_pants if the character is wearing jean shorts but not frilly-end kinds like cutoffs.

Seeing how many of the art tagged under short_pants wear non-jeans and some more akin to hotpants or minishorts, it's kinda understandable to have it aliased to shorts.

The cutoffs wiki states that it's for all denim shorts, not just the actually "cut off" kind, while denim_shorts and all other variants are aliased to that.

Not sure I like that much, but there it is.

Alternatively we could name the tag jorts, lol. I think it's an official enough name. Denim shorts sounds more formal though

Gonna do a plain alias request after if this goes through, cutoffs has a ton of aliases
