It looks like the artist is literally changing accounts to a new name that they prefer, so I'd say we go with the artist's preference on this one.

It's fine for commissioners to have a copyright tag, they just don't get artist tag is all. We reluctantly allow commissioners to do this, but it's slightly discouraged as a general rule as it tends to cause tagging conflicts (artists who are also commissioners or have characters) and it's rarely useful for most people to search with (a notable exception is whitekitten).
Come to think of it, I wonder if tagging them as *_(commissioner) would help solve some of this...hmm. I'll have to write that one down. :P
