Recently, I decided to try looking for other artists by going to some of my favorite images, pulling up the list of other people who had favorited it, and then looking through their favorites. Unfortunately, this got super time consuming super quickly, so I decided to give up doing it manually.

Has someone put there made a tool that can pull up recommendations from an image, based how many favorites other images have in common?
(That might have been poorly phrased, so I'll give an example to make it easier to understand what I mean.
Say there's an image that 150 people favorited. If there's another image that 149 of those 150 people also favorited, then that second image would be close to the top of the recommendations based on this tool.)

If it doesn't exist, is anyone currently working on such a thing/willing to integrate this idea into an existing project?

I can instantly see one major flaw in that idea: many people have their favorites hidden.

A tool like this used to exist but it's been defunct for a few years now.

I've been wanting to get a dump of the favorites table to setup a recommender instance to see how well it would work, but never got around to it
