Topic: Post deleted for breaking human only rule, but post did not have a human at all

Posted under General

I posted a solo picture of Princess Bubblegum from Adventure Time back in March of this year, and it was removed for breaking the "human only" rule. But the post itself did not depict the character as a human. It was Princess Bubblegum, by herself, as her original form. Pink skin, pink hair, no nose, etc.

This character is on several posts on this site. The idea that this specific post was removed for being "human only" is just ridiculous. She didn't even look human in the post, and I tagged the post with "candy people (at)", "goo creature", and other relevant tags. I didn't even tag "human", only "humanoid".

I think it's actually ridiculous if I can't post a character that isn't even human and only vaguely human looking but people can literally just post elves on this site, which look human aside from pointy ears. Heck, I even posted a picture of just elves on this site before, and no removal. But a goo creature is banned?

I've tried to contact the Janitor who deleted it a few times, but only got a copied and pasted response about how they're "not taking any messages right now" and told me to contact a specific admin. I contacted the admin, and still nothing. I tried contacting both of them a month later, and still nothing from both of them. This is a big reason why I just try not to post stuff on here because it can apparently get deleted without even breaking a rule, and I don't even get an explanation on why I was punished.

Like, how is this allowed?

if they look human they're human by tag what you see. unfortunately that picture of bublegum (https://x.com/YAMAthegod/status/1763763532804350241 for anyone looking at ths) has nothing to show that she is made of goo, in that picture she looks entirely human. even just some dripping or oozing parts of her would have helped.

unnatural skin colors do not make a human non human enough to pass here, elf ears/horns/ tails are like the bare minimum to be relevant here

Is the lack of a nose not enough? So, pointy ears is enough to say something isn't human, but lacking a nose isn't?

The post does not depict an actual goo-like creature, just a bubblegum-colored human. Human characters are regularly drawn without noses in simplistic art styles.

nah because a nose not being depicted can be a stylistic choice

But what's the difference between that post and this post? Both are pretty humanoid and the hair on both seems to have a gooey texture to it. Unless I'm just not looking at the one I tried to post correctly, I just interpreted it as having not usual human-like hair, and it looks like a wad of bubblegum to me.

I'm just trying to understand, I don't want to come off as rude or anything. I'm just a little annoyed that neither the janitor nor admin told me anything.

A color gradient on one's hair is not a nonhuman feature.

I can't claim to know slyroon's rationale for approving the post, but I would also approve it if I came across it.
The character is plainly translucent like a goo creature: you can see her head through her arm, as well as some blue-ish and yellow-ish discoloring from the background elements.
The hair also deforms in a way that is suggestive of fluid, rather than individual strands of hair or a solid plastic-y block.
