Topic: Anyway to contest a post being deleted?

Posted under General

I tried posting an animation I made and this one mod deleted it twice saying "Does not meet minimum quality standards (Artistic, Render quality, Pussy not attached)" and while it isn't the best, it isn't deletion bad

This isn't an image gallery. Post it on FurAffinity instead.

So what is e6 then if not a art gallery?
Also FA only allows images, sure I could put it in the description but

Huh. I decided to go have a little looksee at the animation in question. I must admit, I expected it to be bad, and was pleasantly surprised.
I definitely find it a little surprising that this got deleted, as to my eyes the error mentioned was noticeable, but not egregious.
I suppose the next logical step would be to politely email the janitor responsible for the deletion for further clarification.

Sorry, Friday brain is hitting hard. I meant DM, by going to their profile and hitting the send message link under the main navigation links.

Edit: Also perhaps inkbunny would be a good gallery site; I'm pretty sure they allow animations. Except for content with humans, of course.

E621 is not intended as a place for artists to use as personal gallery the way furaffinity for example is intended. Instead this is a website that's focus is to collect curated high quality selection of art from other sites into one place. Artists can upload their own art, but it's not the primary purpose of the site.

Gotcha
Also I personally don't like inkbunny but I'll ponder

If you want to contest a deletion, you can bring it up with the Janitor who deleted a post or by contacting our head admin NotMeNotYou.
