Topic: When Did Egyptian God: Anubis, First Started in the Furry Community?? (Internet-wise, At Least)

Posted under Off Topic

From Egyptian Mythology/Culture, Anubis is one of known egyptian deities that has become an iconic furry icon amongst the furry community, at least online-wise i think. so i've been asking..... when did Anubis really first started and his eventual popularity in the furry community & art?. if there is someone that knows this history of anubis in the furry community, do tell it all if you know. (There's no need to rush, take all the time you need to research and say on this one deity's history)

I am going on a hunch and saying that Anubis has had a place in furry community as long as furry community has existed. Rather than furry community adopting various furry adjacent things with ancient origins at certain points of time, furry community has been growing in and around them since day one.

I was going to say that you are absolutely obsessed with sex and nudity in Ancient Egypt, but since those two words have not been brought up yet, I'm going to play along.

The Egyptians were probably the first furries ever since they placed a jackal head on a human body.

Wrong. Oldest example of humans displaying imagination is this lion man statue someone carved 40 000 years ago. So the moment we got the ability to make up things that do not exist, we started making furries.

this may be a bit off topic here, but simply i'm asking..... i know i can search the e621 forums about sex positions, so i'll ask you first; do you know any good suggestions or recommendations of e621.net forums that talk about positions, sex actions, &/or sex positions? (maybe in general?)

No, discussions about sex positions on e621 is almost always purely about artwork & tagging and nothing about personal experiences.
You risk getting slapped if you make inappropriate comments here or in the comments.

ohhh, my bad. i was simply saying about potential forums that discuss it in the actual artworks themselves, & not the 'personal experiences' as you said. sorry if i said a wrong context

i have already made my account just now on f-list.net but for some really unknown reason, the site simply refuses me to properly login, as it simply said "Login Failed" (Edit. now i can't even sent my login problem ticket complaint to the devs of f-list.net.) (Edit. ignore the first edit, i have managed to register in f-list.net with a second account, so it's all probably fine)

As I have already said, almost all of them are in regards to tagging.

If you want to make a new thread to discuss their appearance in artworks, that's fine.
Just make sure it stays within the context of artworks and nothing more.
Take a look at the Inappropriate Comments help page to know where we draw the line.
