Reason: The current name on this site is a bit out of date and only reflects my FurAffinity account due to not being able to change the name. I'd like my name to reflect my current profiles on Twitter (Now Archived), Bluesky, Telegram and my Subscribestar. The name itself is also a nonsensical mouth-full compared to Steel Shark. That character is my sona but yes, that is fine with me. Thank you for the quick response

It's worse than that.

It looks like there's three Steel Shark characters. All but the latest one belong to the artist Jyabaryu (and is now retagged to steel_shark_(jyabaryu) as it should have been all along). That latest (and now only) one appears to be OP's persona (albeit transformed into a bunny; he also confirmed it while I was typing this out). We probably ought to resuffix that one since there's also a Steel-the-Shark_(character).

But that's not all. There's also a Steele-Shark (artist).

With five Steel(e) Sharks onsite, disambiguation of some sort will be necessary. Steel Shark (artist) is rather close to Steele-Shark (artist), but there's enough of a difference that it ought to be okay.

What about steelshark? That seems less ambiguous, and it follows the format of the bluesky and carrd URLs.

That'd also work for me, just something the makes the artist tags simpler and more up to date
