Topic: Unnamed_character tagging

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I notice a lot of posts with characters or OCs that don't have names. Like, a LOT. Should I tag them with unnamed_character and nameless_character if the character appears multiple times? If I do, it seems like it would be a very large tagging project.

I'd say no. Just about every post would get the tag if it applied to any character in any image that wasn't given a name.

If a specific character is identifiable across multiple images, and is intended to be the same character by the artist/creator, they should get a placeholder tag name that uniquely identifies them (like unnamed_<species>_(<creator>) or something), rather than putting different characters under the same tag which would make it impossible to find other images of any one of those characters.

Alright, thanks! I just wanted to check. I realized a few minutes after posting that it would be kinda silly and inefficient to tag every post with unnamed_character.
