I think that "coming-out" is unnecessary unless not doing so would affect your life in a negative way. EX: A atheist minor's parents taking them to church every Sunday.

Sperm is released throughout the act of intercourse, not just during ejaculation.
Even with perfect timing, you can get a girl pregnant.

There are recorded cases of pregnancies in people who were diagnosed/believed to be sterile.
It's incredibly rare, and certainly if there was an organ removal or injury that could be sufficient.

Some of my friends know I go on e621. Mainly because I've joked about it in casual conversation. My roommate lost a super drunk bet, and had to look through a page of my favorites. (I didn't tell him normal pages are 30 pics and mine are set to 200). If you're wondering what the other side of the bet was, I would've had to go streaking.

My girlfriend knows, but she doesn't care in the slightest. She has some odd fetishes herself, so she says she can't judge.

I never saw a reason to "come out" as a furry.
After all its none of their business.

I don't think "being a furry" just means you masturbate to furry porn. Even if that's an aspect of it.
I didn't really tell my parents/friends by myself. As I discovered the whole furry-thing, I found nice artworks and used them as wallpapers. My parents (and some of my friends) asked what that was and I explained.
And later they asked what this furry-thing is all about and I said something like "I really like furries. I dunno why. I think they are beautiful. And also I'd like to be a real furry too. But that's just fantasy." And they were like "Yeah, ok. Whatever."
