So I did make a forum post asking about the most downvoted post on e621 and one thing I have found is Rocky Rakoon is in the category of making some of the most downvoted post. It actually got me to understand his controversy a little bit. Most of the controversy stems from the fact that he's making brain rot content that makes flashy colors and too many things to process so his audience is going to be mostly children and he's a porn artist so his YouTube advertising his porn.
And as for Tiarawhy I had viewed that artist on YouTube without even knowing they were a porn artist but the stuff they do on YouTube also did advertise porn. And I was probably like 12 seeing that.
So how is Tiarawhy different in this sense from Rocky Rakoon?

Tiarawhy has been in the game for a decade, and makes actually visually-appealing art. I hate to say this, but Rakoon's stuff, to my eye... just looks like ass. Everything being in the vague Regular Show-esque style doesn't help, and it looks REALLY damn offputting with other characters being rendered in that style.

I can think of a few things:

1) Was Tiarawhy's youtube content that horny? Genuinely asking cause I didn't really follow them that closely, but I remember the stuff they put on youtube mostly being memes and gags. You wouldn't know they made porn unless you looked for it. Rocky Rakoon on the other hand seems like he's just been letting his work get more and more shamelessly sexual. (up to the point of even posting an entire set of barely censored porn animations on at least one occasion) Which is a bad look considering he clearly gears his content toward children.

2) Callout culutre wasn't as normalized back in Tiarawhy's time. There were trolls and pearl clutchers, but most people generally had the sense to ignore them not get wrapped up in internet drama. Now those trolls and pearl clutchers are "drama" and "politics" youtbers/streamers/tiktokers/etc. and they make a living riling up their massive audiences of conically online losers and children over every weekly crisis. (and to say nothing of how changes in every major platform's algorthims have incentivized the growth of this outrage industry) Not saying that Rocky Rakoon doesn't deserve to be called out, but you wanted to know why this didn't happen to Tiarawhy.

3) Regarding why he's so unpopular here though, I think it has more to do with e621 users just not likeing tiktok music or tiktok/youtubeshorts/gen alpha culture in general. I'm sure it get's brought up sometimes, but the one Rocky Rakoon post I saw here (which granted, wasn't one of his hornier videos) was just full of replies complaining about the Nicki Minaj Jersey Club remix that it was made for.
