Reason: A short snout is still a snout.
I think it's better to alias. The length of a snout isn't an easily definable metric, and different people will have different opinions.

I get what you mean, but it really feels like we're losing search utility when snout length really does vary a lot:

We managed to come up with rules for hair length - long_hair extends past the shoulders while short_hair does not extend past the neck. At a glance those tags appear to be used correctly, perhaps we can come up with something similar for snout length?

Part of the problem is that, unlike hair, snouts can be affected significantly from perspective and can look shorter or longer depending on the viewing direction and how well the artist deals with the perspective. Would

where the snout is difficult to define.
Currently the snout wiki says:
A snout refers to a notable muzzle on a character or creature.
I'm not sure snout would apply to post #5229646 or post #5139821 from your examples there.
