Topic: I broke unintentionally two rules

Posted under General

Actually, I only broke 2 rules, the plagiarism one and the RP one.
1. The first one was one of my OCs/Pokésonas that doesn't have any art at all, except two, an anthro version of itself that's not perfect, or I don't like to use it, and the other one is a coloring version of my OC/Pokésona's Pokémon that I found on Google, since I'm done from university and searching job, and I noticed that it was one of those sites where they allow people to color, And I didn't know that there was already a version of the original image that I was using, but there was another detail, the coloring version was inspired by another one, which was an image that was already created about the Pokémon I was using, so IDK how to fix that and what the alternatives are.

2. The second one was about Role-playing in comments, I'm an RP type guy, I didn't know that RP in public places for example in comments of pictures was something that wasn't allowed, unlike the previous moderator who just deleted my recolor that I had no idea it was inspired by a previously created or posted picture, so... this new moderator just put my status (neutral) IDK if that's good or bad, or neither, since I feel like my status can now change depending on how other rules I break or follow.

So now I kindly ask you all how I can solve these problems or find alternatives, so I don't break these rules again, or another ones that are similar, or that I could break too.

Do not upload recolours of existing images or base templates that an artist has made freely available.
They are considered to be "low effort edits" according to the Uploading Guidelines and will be deleted.

You got slapped with the additional Plagiarism warning for not crediting the original artist/artwork.

The alternative is to create artwork by yourself without editing an existing image or to commission an artist to create some art for you.
Remember that all uploads will still be subject to the scrutiny of our quality standards guidelines, even if you do create an artwork from scratch.

Roleplaying is not allowed here.

I would suggest using https://www.f-list.net/ for your roleplaying needs or to do it elsewhere and not on this site.

Please familiarise yourself with our Code of Conduct so you don't unintentionally break the rules again.

You were only given a neutral (grey) record for your infractions. It is basically a heads-up for when you have broken a rule for the first time.
You are expected to not break the same rule again after being informed about it. After 6 months, you can request from an admin to remove the neutral record from your account.

If you continue to break the same rules after being informed about it, you will receive a negative (red) record that acts as an official warning that you have committed a serious offence (which will take 1 year to remove from your account).
Continue breaking the rules and you will get a suspension (temporary ban) and eventually a permanent ban.

Mods, send this man to the gulag.

Really though, they are neutral records. Assuming they were neutral to begin with, you probably can get one of them removed. IIRC after 6 months (Might be 1 year), if you haven't broken any more rules, negatives decay into neutral, neutrals decay into removed.
I've seen people with way more records, so as long as you feel you learned what you did wrong, you should be fine!
