Reason: I know this is going to be controversial, but hear me out.

I already know someone is going to argue these tags are going to be impossible to keep clean. Personally I'm not convinced -- given that this is an 18+ site, I have faith in the average e621 user's ability to count to six, or possibly as high as ten -- but even if a lot of posts end up in the wrong bucket, having multiple buckets at all is going to be infinitely better than having one. Even if half the posts in the 8_pack tag end up being mistags (which, again, I'm not convinced will happen), having a tag where 50% of the characters shown actually have eight visible abdominal muscles is better than having one where (wild guess) 2% do.

The other argument I can see is that repopulating these tags is going to be a massive effort. I'm not denying that, nor am I asking anyone to start a massive tagging project to repopulate them all at once. Our community resources could be better spent than on this, so why not just do what all the other tags on the site do and let them grow organically? It might take months or years before these tags have a decent number of posts in them, but better start late than never, right?

(I'd like to create new aliases and implications as follows, but the interface won't let me as long as the aliases that are currently there exist:)

alias 6-pack -> 6_pack
alias 6pack -> 6_pack
alias six_pack -> 6_pack
alias six_pack_abs -> 6_pack
alias six_packs -> 6_pack
alias sixpack -> 6_pack
implicate 6_pack -> abs
alias 8-pack -> 8_pack
alias 8pack -> 8_pack
alias eight_pack -> 8_pack
alias eight_pack_abs -> 8_pack
alias eightpack -> 8_pack
implicate 8_pack -> abs

This seems overly and unnecessarily specific, especially given defined numbers of abs are hard to discern outside of realistic styles anyway.

I strongly disagree. Looking at the current search results for abs, about 80% of the posts are easy to classify. Besides, that's the point of an implication, isn't it? Not everything fits into one of these categories, but having the categories is still useful for the posts that do?

My point is, what value would this serve? Why is it important that we distinguish between 6-packs and 8-packs in the first place?

I'm actually ok with this tbh, we have loads of very specific tags and as long as they aren't just compound tags, I don't see them as bloat really.

However I'd prefer 6-pack_abs or something for the name
