Topic: Revising "scared shitless"

remove alias terrified (0) -> scared (19232)

Reason: After alias is removed, create new alias:

alias scared_shitless -> terrified

"Scared shitless" is a slang term and could be misinterpreted as a synonym for scared. Especially given the next step down from scared is a different word entirely (nervous) and not a variation on "scared", the next step up should be a different word as well for consistency.

The difference between "scared" and "terrified" seems too subtle to me, and would be easy to confuse in posts. You'd end up with similar posts being tagged terrified or scared, depending on the tagger. They're better aliased together than separate.

If the difference is too subtle to be tagged consistently, I don't see the purpose of an "extra scared" tag to begin with.

Yeah, aliasing scared_shitless to scared makes sense to me. It's only got a couple hundred uses (compared to scared's 19,215), and no aliases or implications associated with it, so it doesn't appear to be vetted.
