But a Xbox 360 is NOT a Xbox.If I search the tag Xbox I dont want to see a 360. Same thing other way around. They are two different machines, and shouldnt be under 1 tag.
A Xbox 360 IS a Xbox.
Xbox is the trademark name of all of its other improved consoles. Xbox 360 is a type of Xbox, Xbox One is a type of Xbox, etc. Chances are right now if you search xbox right now, you'll see nothing but Xbox 360s everywhere.

There's the original xbox too.

Xbox is a video gaming BRAND created by microsoft.
IT IS A BRAND.
With multiple generations of consoles ranging from the black-brick xbox, to the newest addition of the xbox one.
Just like the iPod. There are many generations of ipod, but ipod minis, shuffles, and touches are all still called ipods.

Anyone can edit the wiki to show false info. So that doesnt help.
Also: http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110306024032/sonic/images/d/d4/Xbox.png is not a brand
With your logic a picture of a NES should be tagged Nintendo_Wii

Nope! Both NES and Nintendo_Wii are models of the Nintendo brand/company (if you want the specific model they would be NES-001/NES-002 and RVL-001, respectively but TWYS isn't that specific). In this same context, XBOX is both the model and the brand.

Actually, the page is locked so only the person who made the wiki page (most likely a Microsoft representative) can edit it.
Also, the NINTENDO Entertainment System is still a Nintendo. Same with the Wii, both are Nintendos

One has already completed a circle and the other hasn't even started...

Having xbox and xbox 360 is like having different colored fur tags. Rather redundant, IMO.

I'm in agreement with this one. Especially now that we are about to have a third "Xbox" variant on the store shelves. We can always alias it to, "Game_console" however. /sillyideaiknow

No it isnt, with that logic father and son should be the same tag as its the same thing, xbox = father, son = 360. Also with that logic we should tag NSE and Nintendto_Wii as the same thing. Which makes no sense. If we did that when I look up nes I would see images of the wii which is not what I wanted to look up now is it?
Besides, when I look up xbox I dont want to see a 360, they are not the same thing and they shouldnt be tagged the same. There needs to be a distinction between xbox and xbox 360

Fur color tags are extremely important. What if you were searching for an image and the only thing you remember is the character's species and fur color?

So basically there needs to be a distinction made between the original xbox console and the xbox brand in general. You could create an xbox_(original) or xbox_(classic) or whatever tag for the original xbox model console and voila: distinction is made. There needs to be a brand tag for all the xboxes together (the xbox tag is the most straightforward option for this), and then there needs to be implicated tags for each model of xbox: xbox_classic, xbox_360, xbox_one, or whatever tags you decide to go with. Tidy up wikis to explain what goes for what and you're good to go. (Most of which has already been done it looks like.). This isn't complicated.

Hai guise!
Protip: The brand of the xbox, xbox 360, and xbox_one is Microsoft.
Go figure.
