Everywhere thats not a 3rd world country has tv, from shows, to movies, to comedy, ect. I find myself watching tv from all over the world on the net, from stripping new archers to, British comedy, Japanese game shows, and now I have found myself hunting out a bit more of Japan's Tv shows. Mostly the real shows based off animes.

I am unable to remember much names, but ive seen a lot of them so far and they are all good with their own charm to it when they are correctly subbed. However I find myself going towards the anime based influenced movies and tv shows more often then the rest.

For example: GTO'Great Teacher Onizuka', death note, and a few love dramas ive found along the way, or something good based off the Yakuza or crime.

So I had a question for anyone still reading....Does anyone know of a few Japanese english sub tv shows or movies that are based off some good animes? (or are just good to begin with :v)

I kinda need a good one to check out...any suggestions?

I notice a few shows based off anime has some good movies or tv shows. But it doesnt need to be....I just need something else good to watch

You can, but I am trying to find real shows or movies for now, they can be anime based but so far every time i come across an anime, I keep comparing it to better stuff. I kinda like the live action acting since japan can do it very well.

Oh gawd MXC, they show this in the USA on SPIKE TV....or used to anyway. The dubbing was really weird, I swear they just read all the voices to be funny. Never was sure if it was a real dub or not, but man that show is funny. I kinda wish I had a red helmet :V

I do wish I could find some original English subbed episodes of "Takeshi's Castle" aka "MXC" as I feel like there are a lot of jokes we are missing out on due to the dub.

I'm almost certain its just for fun, and that that's not what they actually said on Takeshi Castle.

Well from what I read they did the dubs ages after the show, and redid it to make it funny for perhaps some outdated or japan jokes. I still like to see if i can find a sub version, but that show is really kickass :3
