Just a thought that came across my mind to help make artists that contribute to the site feel more... at home so to speak. And sorry if this has been mentioned already x.x but anyways. What if we made a level, such as privileged for example, but have it be Certified artist. This way if an artist wants to upload their own work to the site, they dont have to wait for approval/worry about an upload limit. They can get to this level by showing that they have their own work on another site, and idk, to prove its them maybe send a verification message to the account on the other website, wheter it be FA, IB, etc. Just a thought.

We actually already have exactly that. The artist system and the Contributor level, together.

I always thought Contributor meant someone who had either donated to the site, or does a lot of tag fixing, etc., not someone who posts their art to the site.

It's both of those.

So an artist can become a contributor just by saying theyre an artist?

like me, im an artist but i dont do a lot of art, and most of it isnt e621 applicable, logos and paintings with no furrys or people in them. but i do alot of tag correction and reports..ect. I have my own page in the artists section but i also asked to be upped to contrib level so i could help out more.
