I'm new here, so please forgive me if i'm just being stupid; is there a way to add the tags to the image itself when you download/save it? I know that there is tha other imageboards do that, and was curious if e621 was the same, as it is troublesome to type them out (or at least just add the artists name) for each picture.

Not that I know of, but I know this is talked about a lot in the e621 Tools and Applications forum.

If you don't mind doing it manually, you can always just hit "edit", copy all the tags and paste them into the file name; it's not pretty but it would save time vs. manually typing them.
