I'm sure all of us have that fetish(or multiple) that are a bit hard to explain. So I think it'd be interesting to see people's logic behind their own.

And I'm happy to start.

One of the more bizarre of my fetishes is blood play. It's not so much a fetish for blood itself as it is for bleeding for somebody or having them bleed for you. Whether it's from biting, cutting, or some other means of breaking the skin there is of course some pain. But it's sexy if they're taking pleasure in making you hurt a bit. Of course the pain is pretty erotic as well.

But I suppose that's just my sado-masochistic side showing it's face yet again.

The same principle applies with gore, but for obvious reasons I'd prefer to keep that in fantasy.
