Should this character tag be kept? Not many posts are tagged with it and I'd imagine it is not a very descriptive tag that can apply to the majority of posts.

Most of those are probably accidental mistags, similar to the character:, species and species: tags. I suppose we could alias it to invalid_tag, but I find those pretty easy to clean manually.

Well, it'd certainly require less work.
Though there's usually other mistags to be fixed on those, and it's easier to spot and fix them if the tags aren't invalidated. Which is why I have several similar tags on my monthly clean-up list.

Personally, I'm ridiculously busy this week...but I'll see if I can get some spare time to sort it out.
