Hey everyone.. new to E621 and just uploaded my first piece of art!
However, when making tags, I can get everything OK except for the Artist tag (at the moment it says 'none')
How the heck do I make it tag to me, -Ryley-?

You just put artist: in front of the name, so in your case this would be artist:-riley-

And if you should have other places where you post your art, you can click the ? before your name and add the links to them there.

Funny thing is .. I already tried that - for some reason it doesn't want to work. When I click 'save changes' the site just seems to get stuck and loop.
I must have tried like 5 times now.. can't be this difficult surely?

Only thing I can think of is that I'm a noob and my post is still awaiting approval from a moderator.. Hmmmmm...

The moderator approval should have nothing to do with this.

But I see what you mean.

I know. But for some reason it also took forever with artist:ryley_(artist), but now it worked.

I did kinda think this when I changed my username - shudda just used Ryley huh lol

so as long as I put --> artist:ryley_(artist) as a tag it should do it. Thanks alot Jatix :)

No problem. But you just type in ryley_(artist).
You only need artist: for the first time.

Make sure to add your artist info to the ryley_(artist) wiki page, found most easily via the ? beside the tag.
