After researching this, all I can find is that the word 'nappy' derived from the word napkin, but is almost entirely exclusive to diapers.

Maybe it's a Canadian thing? I dunno, I just wanted to note I've heard it used that way before. Sorta a "cute" way of saying it? Like when dealing with kids, or trying too hard to be cutesy. *shrugs* If it gets aliased then I have no issue with it.

I think that the usage of it to mean diaper is overwhelming, and someone complained on one of my posts that they had nappy blacklisted but not diaper. It's a little thing, but it seems simple enough.

Like I said, I have no issue with it being aliased. Just that I've heard the term used to mean napkins as well, and not just sanitary napkins aka diapers. It doesn't bug me one bit any way.

Even if people call napkins nappies, that's not something that really happens in tags. It's relatively obscure and it's slang.
