Topic: I have a question

Posted under General

So, I've noticed that after having my password reset, I no longer receive a dmail after a ticket I've submitted has been investigated. Is there a reason for that, or is it up to the admin who investigated it whether or not to send a message?

Those are automated and should always be send, so you not getting sounds like a bug.

Can you give more details and try reporting yourself as a test ticket to see if the same thing happens?

Your email address is invalid (contains a comma that isn't enclosed by quotation marks), so the dmail is bombing out when trying to send notification. We'll work on making this process more robust (specifically, it shouldn't fail to send the dmail when it fails on the email notification), but until then, you should be able to fix this issue for yourself by changing your email to a valid address or by removing the email altogether.

I hit the comma by mistake. I hate this keyboard sometimes. I fixed it, so it should work now.

Oh, I just remembered! In regards to email notifications. When a ticket status is changed, the notification is sent as an exact copy from the one we see here, so the link in it points to "ticket/1234" leading to www.ticket.com/1234 (1234 being the ticket ID)...

I've been meaning to report this but kept forgetting about :T
