To be honest, I don't mind the record, but if you're going to try to be a better community, at least have the courtesy of warning me, or better yet, try not being rude? If I were an artist and I'd be uploading (Which I am and did contribute some of my images, but eh, I'm an amateur and they're shitty), and comes in someone who reports me for not tagging properly, with an insulting note like that, it'd make things look bad for e621.net... because frankly, I'm feeling upset right now.

So please, try being, at least, more courteous and friendly.

Hmm, well it seems that you've already uploaded 62 images so far. You should probably know your way around some tags after uploading around 40 images. All I can say is to tag better.

The tagging system is remarkably robust, and with the related tabs tool, I have a hard time understanding how a person could have difficulty tagging.

I did. Minimum 4 tags, and there were 4-5 tags overall. I always tagged minimum because I want to upload more than to tag then and then I need to leave. Unless you don't want me to post at all, I'll avoid so.

But I don't see any rules that admins can insult me for not tagging right, so, that's where it's wrong. Nonetheless, I've tagged accordingly to the rules. If it says 4 minimum, I followed, this included the Artist, the topic, and the character names.

But sure, go ahead, do what you feel like doing and report me for following the rules. >_>

There's nothing insulting about "Tag your crap better." Aurali didn't call you names. She didn't make fun of you. She didn't even issue a temporary ban. All she did was inform you that your tagging wasn't up to par.

Yeah, she stepped on your toes and hurt your e-pride, but is it honestly that big of a deal? Just toss a few more tags on your uploads and the big bad mods will never bother you again.

She may not have called me names, when she did say to 'tag YOUR CRAP', frankly, if this was my art, and she called my stuff crap, I'd feel offended.

You should try including the basics in the future, such as genders, setting and landscape descriptors, poses, unusual objects or clothing, hair and eye colors, artist and character names, etcetera. I always add at least 10 tags minimum, since the main advantage of this site is the search function.

well... tag your crap better. and stop being so self conscious over the internet. if you consider that an insult you must be oversensitive.

I uploaded a few images today with some skimpy tags. I'll be honest I don't know half of the tags to use for my images, but there are some minimal obvious tags that you should add like male/female and the species. I have tags like male+solo and gay blacklisted yet I still see dozens of them floating around.

I doubt the mod was complaining about you not tagging every single thing, but rather that you missed some obvious tags that could effect peoples blacklist.

If you're old enough to view and post porn than you ought to be old enough to realize that some people aren't going to be nice to you. Especially people on teh interwebs. If you're going to cry over something as simple as what Aurali told you, how do you expect function at all? Most people know that if they're putting themselves, their art, and what have you, out there on the internet they'll be facing the possibility of flames. Most people also know not get butt-hurt about it.

I doubt that the mods would have even talked to you had it been your first time uploading. If they had, it would have been a note or comment advising you of how things worked around here. But it wasn't your first upload. It was your 60 something...eth. And you've been here for a year. You ought to know how to put a effort into your uploads by now.

TLDR: Grow a thicker skin (alternatively, grow up). You've been here long enough to know better.

Alright, I'll not let my Asperger's get ahead of me then. I'm disabled as it is but fine, I'll focus more on my tagging, since I'm getting a lot of complaints about it.

To be fair to Aurali, that IS remarkably shitty tagging. I mean, you've got 4 tags on one of those images that are exclusive to your comic. Try adding something like "penis" or "oral sex" or "cum." It's really quite simple. And don't give me that "oh it takes a long time" nonsense, because it really doesn't.

Also, leaning on a disability is not going to give you any sympathy points. It's more likely to take them away. :/

For future reference: e621 is at it's core about the tagging. That is the primary thing of value that the site brings. If an image isn't tagged well, it may as well not even be on the site.

EDIT: Also. I have Aspergers too. Don't you dare ever use it as an excuse. ANY disability should only be used an explanation, NEVER an excuse. It's your responsibility to attempt to exercise control over your disability. You insult Aspergers people, and people of disabilities everywhere, when you try and justify your laziness with a disability which is not even relevant.

I have Aspergers too. If anything, it should make you a better tagger; after all, one of the traits of the condition is being good with tedious and detailed tasks. Otherwise I wouldn't be coming up with 53 fucking tags without difficultly like I did for post #94448

Tell that to my doctors who diagnosed me with it. They also gave me a diagnosis of ADHD and ADD. I didn't take Ritalin, Concerta, and other medications for no reason. So instead of making accusations like that, keep in mind not everyone is like you. Every Asperger's has a different thought train, and yes, I am meticulous in certain areas, but yours is different than mine.

So please, move on.

I have ADD/ADHD as well (and I /don't take medication anymore), and I don't have any problem with meticulous and detailed tasks. You're using your disability as a crutch and an excuse to not improve yourself. It makes the rest of us look bad.

to be honest, no one could care less of disabilites. now i do know some kids with aspergurs, they can't tell sarcasm, that doesn't mean you can't tag your shit. hell, if anything, that should help you tag, since it makes you focus intently on somethign. i'm calling bull on your disability.
