This isn't a discussion, it's a notification that the implication has already been set up.

If someone disagrees with it, THEN you can give it your support.

Don't see why support would have to wait for opposition. The entire point is that a mod would review the thread before approving anyways, so positive opinions from others than the proposer can't really hurt.

Also, the alias system is broken at the moment so it can't have anything added. So really, a suggestion and/or discussion is all that it is right now.

Why can't the alias/implication system go back to how it was? I liked it better then.

The point of the forum thread being created is FOR discussion, either for or against the implication/alias.

It's the same as it was before (well, once it gets fixed and aliases/implications are ACTUALLY added...) but now there's a corresponding thread for discussion about it.

Okay, maybe I worded that wrong. It just seemed to me that with the "+1 vote", Blaziken believed this was someone asking for the implication to be made.

Well, essentially they are. Somebody below mod level can't add aliases. They can only add an alias request, it still has to be actually added by a mod.

Again, that's assuming the system is working right, which it's currently not -- attempting to add a request or an alias is currently impossible, all trying does is create the forum topic to discuss it.

Whenever I said alias, I meant implication. Same system, so it all still applies, I just wasn't paying enough attention.
