Topic: Tag Alias: cat_girl -> catgirl

I dunno.

Well, yes, obviously, but.. maybe catgirl and Cat_girl should implicate female, feline, and Kemonomimi... I doubt we have tags for foxgirl, doggirl, skunkboy etc. Or if we do, they are little used (a VERY quick glanced showed that most of the *boy tags were used once by a single uploader.

or maybe we should be wandering through Kemonomimi and adding foxgirl and gorillagirl and marmosetgirl etc...

and then also we have nekomimi.. Kemono means 'beast' or 'animal' and 'mimi' is ears. neko, obviously is cat. So.. kemonomimi is 'animal ears' but also refers to a sort of style of character, and nekomimi is cat ears.

now.. if I'm reading correctly, nekomimi is aliased to cat_ears (though I'm seeing both pop up on images...? maybe I misunderstand how aliases work..) ... but in any regard, nekomimi implies kemonomimi, and nekomimi should also imply catgirl, and...
....

...this part of the boards looks to be messy...

Eh, kemonomimi and all that stuff has always been confusing and thus no use to me. I personally don't mind if catgirl is aliased to female, though. cat_girl to catgirl, I agree though.

it's not very complicated... they just refer to humanoids with very light animal features--ears, maybe a tail. some times paws.

anyway, the point of my reply was to draw attention to the mess in the area :) cat_girl -> catgirl I'll agreewith... but, is catgirl a tag we should have? (personally, yes. and I think there should be more implications involved.. as well as general clean up. one could also get to 'catgirl' by searching female+kemonomimi+feline after all.. but shoudl they have to look for komonomimi+male+fox to get to foxboys? I dunno. I just stir up conversation and bring up other ideas :D
