Topic: Standards for Subjective Tags

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Came across "badass" as a tag, wondering just how useful a tag it really is. I came across it because some guy had gone and swapped "bad_ass" for "badass" in bulk.

Both bad_ass and badass are wrong, unless the image happens to contain the phrase "badass" or "bad_ass" written in the image.

I don't even think it should in those cases c_c; if we went by that rule, we'd have a zillion random tags for all sorts of text. and no one really cares if the word badass is written in most art, I think.

Also, the tag shouldn't exist anyway. We have the epic tag. Some of the art under badass should probably be tagged with 'epic' and the rest should be removed.

I thought about going through and making reversals, but even then, my opinion is as subjective as the choice of tags at times. So I thought best to bring it up here, and let those with authority do what they thought best. Glad things are being looked at.
