Before stuff gets validated and tags get screwed en masse, i'd like to protest : there isn't the shadow of a proof these two artists are the same person (save for an internal wiki aliasing entry).
I don't know who or how they came up with that, but i don't see any similarity in their style.

Full agreement. I see no similarity between the two artists, if anything I see specific details that the two artists diverge on. I would need some specific proof that the two were the same person.

Edit: In fact, the more I Google around, the less I believe the two share any relation, except possibly that both are Japanese.

Edit edit: And who's zianderfox? Google suggests "zidanerfox", with no results found on the other name. Is that really an alias for Dr. Comet, or is that another case of attributing a relation where none exists?

I remember reading on Paws.RU I think, that Zianderfox was an old alias for Dr. Comet. I could be wrong, so don't quote me on that...

zianderfox does not exist.
Zidanerfox, is a friend of DrComet and has dedicated many oekaki.

It is true that I have always heard, DrComet aka Kemono Inukai, although both pseudonyms have their own independent sites:
Kemonet.com for Kemono Inukai
Kemono-Island for Dr Comet

These two sites were sending one to the other via advertising.
Both artists know very well, and collaborations between them (draw / colors), had to create confusion.

Ok, translation :

I said they knew each other other very well considering they were advertising for each other back in the days when kemonet.com's access wasn't blocked to the rest of the world. Collaborations between the two of them (lines by DrComet and colors by Kemono Inukai) must have brought confusion.

Here, i found in my archives, pics of Dr Comet, the first with Jason Canty (taken at Further Confusion 2002 i think), and the other one at a "Tokyo Comic Market" in Japan.

Cool. Based on that information, I've updated the two artists' entries.

Thread necromancy!

I just noticed that this alias seems to have been approved. Any chance this can be un-approved, or did we decide that they are actually the same artist, just using noticeably different styles?
