Topic: Tag Implication: bioluminescence -> glow

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Implicating bioluminescence -> glow.

Reason: Bioluminescence is the production/emission of light by a living organism. Glow(ing) means giving out light. So anything that's being bioluminescent must glow.

Sounds perfectly logical to me River. And it means I don't have to keep typing out Bioluminescence :D

If I understand the tag system correctly, all this will mean is when you tag something "bioluminescences," it'll also be tagged as "glow." After all, things can glow that aren't bioluminescing. So if it's a character that's got glowy bits, it should still be tagged "bioluminescence."

If I'm totally wrong here, let me know and I'll stfu.

Other than that, I think that's reasonable, River.

It works. *shrug* Not all things that glow are bioluminescent, but everything that's bioluminescent glows.

I approve of this implication! :D *paw prints all over*

builoluminesc* -implies-> glow seems good to me.

Do we want to rewrite glow ("there is a glow", sounds vague and all-pervasive) -alias-> glowing ("something is glowing", feels a bit more specific) while we're at it? It might be more consistent with all those glowing_* tags.

A'ight then, we can alias glow to glowing. Not so sure about adding wildcards into aliases/implications... who knows what could pop up?

I meant any current tags matching the pattern right now, one implication for each. Not a wildcard on the left of an implication. Sorry for the confusion.
