Topic: Artist tag alias: Brzask -> Tanuki

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

Reason: She uses Tanuki for every other place that doesn't have it taken and would be Tanuki on FA as well if it weren't taken by an inactive user already.

Updated

Mentioned right on their FA page: Full Name: Tanuki

I think it's reasonable.

A tanuki is a Japanese raccoon dog. How about an alias to tanuki_(artist) instead.

That's why you tag "artist:Tanuki" instead of "tanuki" and it makes the name go yellow instead of blue.

what? you got it wrong. putting in artist:tanuki makes the tag tanuki go yellow. which means the current posts tagged with tanuki will also have the yellow tanuki tag on it, implying that tanuki is the artist of all the post tagged with tanuki. so you should use artist:tanuki_(artist) instead

Sorry, should have elucidated. Already made the tag artist:tanuki_(artist). Just need to retag the images.

I could have sworn there were tags with "foo" that were blue and at the same time "artist:foo" that were yellow on the same image.

I think some time ago that the artist tags were blue before they changed it. Memory's not what it once was though, so get a second confirmation on that.

Now I know it isn't, but I really thought it was.
