I had a problem with the site at around 12:00 EDT for about half a minute. Then everything was fine. Other than that, nothing is out of place. Maybe the color scheme was the surprise?

Yeah, the only thing I saw were the 3rd and 5th mascots. The third is a lizard with a bloody axe and shirt(not scary) The 5th is the catboi/person/thing mascot but with a bloody mouth, sinister smile, black rimmed eye, and taking off a blood stained Jason mask.

Whoa, deadly Hexerade, totally cool. Missed it originally even though I 'do' have https://e621.net/ as my home page, since it was the second esix image. 'tis set now, and totally liking the new scheme (inb4 feature request for users choosing schemes for the site). I like how the topic locked color is blue, a contrast, albeit a good looking one, with the rest of the page. ..or was that a mistake and something that was forgotten to change?

There were/are other plans for the site. Looks like they just didn't get implemented in time.

Might still implement them for a day even if it's after the fact. Would suck that Aurali and others went through all that work for nothing. I'll leave that up to them though.
