Topic: What's the fastest you've ever driven

Posted under Off Topic

On the way home from work, I decided to take a back route to get around all the traffic but i got bored and decided to let my engine stretch its legs.

The on board Computer clocked me in at 205Mph in my Aston Martin DBS.

So, what's the fastest speed you've gone? What car were you in?

Same. I don't have a need for a driving license so I don't see the point of trying for one.

115mph before the ECU cut out the accelerator. Didn't feel like it'd go much faster though. It's just a little 1.7L four cylinder. Not even close to a gorram Aston Martin -is jelly-

Got my 1996 bronco xlt to go ~98 mph before the wind shaking was unbearable

140 MPH in my BMW M3, wanted to go faster but traffic limited me :/

Well this one time I had to take a really huge dump, and the bathroom was across the building from where I work...

Holy Shit. my hat is off to you sir (or madam) but how in the hell did you get up to 140 in a traffic zone? The back road i took was basically unused, and I'd never seen a Police Cruiser on it either.

I'm a guy lol. Anyways, I was on a 3 lane highway and there were no cars in front of me for like a a mile, haha. It was fun. I prefer back country roads though, cuz I love roadcoursing my car

Haha, well I still say that took some balls. Because I see cop almost everyday on the Highway. Allover except for that one backroad.

How do you like your BMW? That's a Sports Coupe isn't it?

112 mph, '95' Toyota Camry. Slowed down because of the radar detector and not wanting to get caught.

72 mph, officer. And a law-abiding and respectful 19 in that 20 zone back there.

I see. That's what I like About my DBS, I can get it up to hellacious speeds, and not feel a shake. It has a streamlined design so the wind just passes right over it.

In my bus I did about 85 mph. It felt like at least 120 since I'm two inches off the ground and sitting in front of the front axle.

I also have gone 157 in an Audi Quattro TT before deciding I was going too fast.

No idea. I've had the needle buried on a '78 trans Am with a 400 in it though. Fastest I know of? 120 in a '98 Ford Explorer.

like 115 on the highway in a 95' Saturn SL2, the whole car started to shake so i had to slow it down...

That's probably a good thing. Vehicles in general shouldn't have break pedals (although I suppose mechanics might appreciate such a thing).

82 mph in my darlin' 1990's era Jeep.

Jeeps are good cars. I had a commander for years, and the only problem I had was when the air conditioner went out, and the part wasn't expensive at all.

A Jeep has already saved my life once.

The fastest what?
'What's the fastest (Blank) you've ever driven?"

The fastest speedboat?
Car?
Large vehicle?

I think the most I went was like 130 KM/H. I'm usually the relaxed guy on the road. On a 90 km/h road, I'm usually at 95-105 km/h.
