To me, "death by snoo snoo" is a tag that indicates a character is being fucked to death, but metaphorically. The "School Daze" comic could be death by snoo snoo to me, as the bottom keeps getting fucked by more and bigger dicks, but not to the point of doing real damage. He's just having a damn good gangbang. Or post #159795. I think that one embodies it perfectly. The elephant is getting such a damn good fuck that his eyes are rolling back and he's gonna pass out from sheer pleasure.

It describes a thing that is in images. Admittedly, it's as pretty stupid way to do so, as it's a reference to Futurama. I think a tag for that use is needed, though I'm totally in agreement that it shouldn't be "death_by_snoo_snoo."

It's not even used for when a character is dying from sex. I've only seen it used for the tags i've stated.

In most of the images i've seen with the tag, the people who are supposed to be "dying" are alive, with no obvious wounds, broken bones, or blood loss. And since furry art generally ignores physics with thing like huge_penetration and cum_inflation, we need to the subject to actually be dying to tag it. And tags aren't meant to be entertaining, they're meant to be functional. We don't need cluttertags.

Maybe I just want a site I like using to be kept tidy and devoid of dumbass note edits and useless tags.

That's because they're dying metaphorically. This argument has been had before with things like "what_has_science_done." and the like. The tags ARE functional. Maybe it needs to be cleaned up and clarified in the wiki. That can be done. They didn't obviously die from sex, they just obviously died and had lots of vigorous sex with people larger than they, as their pelvises are shattered. But the reason I feel this tag isn't for real death as much as mind-blowing sex, is the humor in the tag and in such images. The image with the elephant embodies that perfectly. Extreme O faces are always amusing, so there's an element of humor in the image; this comes through with a similar element of humor in the tag. The fact that it's a reference to Futurama also makes me think that it is a little tongue-in-cheek, that it's not for real death.

Regardless to any of this, I've said the whole time I'm totally ok with abandoning the tag, as long as we have something to replace what I'm describing.

You're arguing that the tag is for something I think it isn't. At this point, I'm saying what the tag is FOR doesn't matter, I'm ok with getting rid of it and introducing a tag used for what I've described.

I've always seen death by snoosnoo to be indicative of a 'that should not ever fit without massive internal damage' and stuff like that. I wish rediculous_fit and huge_penetration were more often tagged, but they're not.

anyway, I think death_by... fits a very particular slice of art here and should hang around. even if it is a 'silly' tag.. all of the tags brought up edescribe some of the iamges it contains but not all of them.
