German.

I don't look like an Aryan superman, though:
Slender (aka "skinny"), brown hair, brown eyes, glasses, average height.

But my skin is white, so if the Nazis were to seize power again, they wouldn't kill me immediately (unless they found out about e621).

German/Polish with a smattering of most other EU countries somewhere. My polish grandpa was in one of WWII's concentration camps, and my german grandfather was one of the ranking officers of the same camp. Talk about awkward.

I'm the whitest white guy to have ever walked the Earth.

I find it funny how Americans tend to talk about all the different nationalities they've got 'in their blood'. It seems to be a popular thing to be able to name as many nationalities as possible. Is it a way of finding some cultural validation or something?

Just an ordinary northern wol-
Erm, American Minnesotan. Half my ancestors are German, half are Czech, and all are alcoholics.

Well, the one thing most Americans have in common is that we're all different and all come from different backgrounds. It rarely matters, so it makes for good casual conversation. Plus, its interesting to learn about the traditions other families have preserved from their heritage. We may suck at geography and generally be a bunch of self-interested twats, but that doesn't mean we aren't at least curious about other cultures.

English, Irish, Hungarian and Lithuanean, and the family name is French. *shrug*

Predominatly, my ethnicity is scatered around the British Isles. Let's do the math here shall we? From my maternal grandma's side I'm 1/16th British, 1/16th Irish, and about 1/8th apparently decended from Scotish royalty and I also have a romanian minority from that side also. My Maternal Grandpa's side is predominatly Irish with German Jew and French Canadian minority. My Biological Dad's side is kind of faded because of family issues but both of my Grandparents from that side had Anglo-Saxon surnames. So rounded up, I'm 9/16th British, 5/16th Irish and 1/8th Scotish royalty. And I'm also adopted by the Chinook Tribe.

Cool! But how can you stand the sound of all those rotor blades? :P

More seriously, though, as interesting as it is to learn about the various tribes that predated colonial expansion, the whole flattened head thing just totally weirds me out. They couldn't... I mean, with all due respect to their traditions, they don't still do that, do they?

Polski/Hiszpański :P

Predominantly Polish, however, I was born in the Americas though.

Native American/Jewish/various lower class Catholic Europeans. My ancestors took in a lot of refugees from Europe who weren't particularly welcome in the violent days of Protestantism. Later on the white looking descendants of the refugees hid them in the violent days of the American genocide and the Indian Removal Acts. What goes around comes around.

The Columbia River was an ancient homeland of the Chinook. Belive me we've been through alot worse. Disease ultimatly some were forced to live with tradional enemies (Quinalt). The Sub-tribe that I'm affiliated with, the Shoalwater Bay Tribe refused to relocate and succeded. :D

That tradition is fading away. Some elderly Tribesmen still have flathead though.

The are some adoptions in my father's side of the family, and I know little of my mother's side due to bad blood between her and her mother.

So I'll call myself a "white mutt".

Hairy invaders on boats, chiefly. Surprisingly high chance of a gene or fifty from sub-Saharan Africa, slightly less than that from the Indian subcontinent.

We're probably all descended from royalty or similar high-status twerps as appropriate to your long-gone ancestors' tribes. That's just the way the numbers work unless most of your ancestry happened in $STOCK_COMICAL_RURAL_BACKWATER.
