Submit a takedown request here http://e621.net/take_down

No, don't flag them! D:
You will have to wait until Char deals with your takedown request.

I thought only the artist could have an image taken down, as per what the takedown information says?

Only the artist can request a takedown. See: http://e621.net/static/takedown

No, the copyright holder can, who is not always the artist.

it would be truth but, i think if some customer don't want, it would have to grant.

I'd be happy to help you but can you prove total ownership? We are waiting for H0rs3's comments first, but as I said. We'd need proof before we can do anything.

Now why would you want it taken down from here?
Not like it's disappearing from the net anyway.
And now just to spite you for giving-a-fuck, I'm going to watch it on Ychan.

Watchers gonna watch.

1) Is the post in question being here causing you to lose money?
2) Are you the artist/official owner, or are they speaking through you?
Both of these would be valid reasons for removal, but neither appear to be true. Yes, you paid for the commission, but it's still H0rs3's own work. In most cases, this would mean he is the only one who can get it removed.
If you really, really want it taken down, maybe you can convince him to take your side.

I normally don't care either way, but this would seem to be part of why e621 gets a bad rap.
*shrug*

How so? If he wants the posts removed then he just needs to contact the copyright owner and go through the proper channels. It's not complex. The Take Down Request function isn't even hard to find, and it explains how the function works.

Except that it's a very straightforward, reasonable solution to the problem that a person only needs to look for in order to find.
A lot of people are stupid, unreasonable and like to whine and bitch before trying to figure out things for themselves, if at all.

No, E6 got a bad rep because during the Arcturus Regime, takedown requests were almost never followed through on, and DNPs were ignored. In this case, maho has no legal right to request that the image be taken down because s/he doesn't own any rights to it.

In general, not following through with a take down request annoys people, whether it is legal or not. This site also doesn't implicitly require people to give permission to have their shit posted.
Having your stuff, that you either paid for or worked on, put up in a public archive without your knowledge or prior consent, then having to get a work around to have it removed, only to constantly have to monitor it to see that your request is maintained = Irritating.
It's a bad formula that a snotty site owner can turn from bad to implacable.

"...then having to get a work around to have it removed, only to constantly have to monitor it to see that your request is maintained..."
Except, no. There shouldn't be any 'work around'. If you don't want it being distributed, state as such to the artist first thing, so it can be worked into the rights detailed on the submission if it gets posted publically. If you don't care enough to do something like that, then you have no right to get in a huff because something that -is not yours legally- is put up elsewhere. It's like some artist making a piece of fan art for someone at a con, and them posting pictures of it up on the net and getting angry when someone posts that picture elsewhere. it's silly. In short, if you don't own it, you have no right to bitch about it being anywhere, not just E6.
As for the second part- Again, this isn't the Arcturus Regime. DNPs and takedowns are followed through on, assuming the requestee has the legal right to do so.

Like I just said: Most people don't -care- about the legality involved. They tend to assume ownership based on principals not always laid out in fine copyright law print. When a law works against someone, it doesn't necessarily placate them, in fact it might piss 'em off even more.
Not saying your point is without merit. It's the internet after all, so everything gets distributed in it's own way or another.

That's fine and well, but if they have no right to dictate where the art can and can not be posted then they have no leg to stand on, no matter how "pissed off" they become.
If Maho wants the art removed then he can contact the artist and the artist can choose to file a takedown request. If he wants to avoid this in the future, he can request to purchase all rights to his commission when he purchases one.
