Aliasing third_eye -> multiple_eyes.
Reason: three_eyes is already aliased to multiple_eyes, this probably should be too.

A third eye isn't necessarily an additional physical eye.
For example, iguanas are considered to have a 'third eye', which isn't an actual eye at all but a light-sensing organ on the top of their head. Doesn't mean they have three eyes.

Maybe a implication would be better?

A third eye isn't necessarily an eye. I don't think this would work as an implication OR an alias.

The multiple_eyes tag bugs me. Anyone with more than one eye has multiple eyes.

True, but more_than_two_eyes would be very clunky.

extra_eyes might work.

Extra relative to what though?
Would the extra_eyes tag be applicable to arachnids, since they have more than the standard two eyes? Or would it not since eight eyes is standard for them?

Personally I would vote for yes. There's a reason why it's called "standard". (it's what humans are used to)

Personally, I'm quite used to spiders having eight eyes. :P
