Looking for all taggers to give a hand cleaning out the tagme tags again we're up to 5 pages full of submissions that need tagging or to have the tag removed. Thanks for your assistance!

Yup.

Well, not really, maybe sorta. Not a bad idea to stick it there to remind people to keep an eye out for tagmes, but I think it was decided not to keep a running update on the state of tagme, because there will always be more tagmes.

I noticed a few days ago there's hundreds of submissions tagged 'tagme' with sources to sites such as furaffinity, deviantart, etc and the uploader was just too lazy to tag the artist.

EDIT: What the fuck have I just wrote? This is why I shouldn't attempt foruming at 5 AM in the morning. I was supposed to write unknown_artist, not tagme. Why was I even posting on this thread?

so what's the deal with these false "tagme"s? I see several submissions with a load of tags AND the tagme tag.

I'm guessing that most of those are images that didn't get enough tags when uploaded and so got tagme stuck on them, then no one removed them when adding more.

Some people add tagme even though they tag the crap out of it when they post it. I wish people wouldnt do this.
