When I try to tag the kanji translated artist 箔(Haku) with the tag artist:haku, instead of appearing as an artist, it appears as a character.

Anyone knows why?

haku is already in the tag database as a character.

You'll have to make a new one with artist:haku_(artist).

Edit: I went ahead and made it. Can we get a mod in here to make the 箔 -> haku_(artist) alias?

Also, I notice the existing haku tag is in use for several different characters. I'll try to separate them into different haku_* tags, but I don't know all of them. Help would be appreciated.

Cleared out the haku tag.

Thanks for the help. I tried adding to the database as an artist, but now I see it doesn't work if it was added previously as a character.

I usually save all my sources, unfortunately sometimes I forget to save it together with the illustration. Other times I forget to save the kanji, so it gets frustrating searching on Japanese sites. If I ever come across it again, I'll add the source.
