Greetings everyone!

I suppose I should probably introduce myself to you all. I'm the only other administrator on this site currently besides Varka. It's a package deal, a 2-for-1, a buy-one-get-one-free. Varka will remain the "site" admin and owner, but has appointed me as the general admin to handle users, admins/moderators, and whatever else Varka just doesn't have time to do or doesn't feel like doing (typically anything that involves managing the userbase in one way or another). Fortunately, managing users is one thing that I quite enjoy doing, so we go pretty well together. :P

As for my prior experience, this will be my first danbooru-based website to manage, but it's certainly not my first user-content-driven website to manage. I was one of the original founders of the new (circa 2003) AGNPH website (www.agnph.com), and still administrate that site to this day (I'm the only original admin that is still around). So I'm definitely not new to this whole administrator thing; I've been at it for 7 years and counting.

I am very approachable and can generally get along with just about anyone, which I hope will eventually be evident on its own. It doesn't mean that I'll just let people walk all over me though. I admit that I'll put up with a little shit from people in an effort to keep things civil, but even I have my limits.

Hi Char, you seem like a nice guy. I hope you aren't too nice though. I said it before in a more joking way. But a know I was serious. A lot of what's made the community of this site great is that the mods have been liberal with banning trolls, creepy people, people who use too much AOLspeak, or whatever other sort of problem members that typically don't get banned on other websites.

Ya know? A person who never posts any comment beside "Mmmm, that's so murry" or "I came so many times" or other creepy posts, really don't need to have posting privileges. Ya can view the whole site without being a member, or without posting comments if you have nothing to add. We don't need to hear about your masturbation habits.

As a general rule I think when the mods stay on top of the ball, banning appropriately, about 10% of the registered users get banned; or at least that's what seemed to happen every Shark Week.

Banning creepy fucks and 'being nice' aren't necessarily mutually exclusive; I have no intention of allowing trolls / creepy furs / AOL speakers to ruin it for everyone, just for people who are sensible and not retarded Char tends to come off as pretty courteous.

I suppose the same applies to me too - if you're retarded, don't expect me (or any of the other admins) to cut you any slack.

Basically just what Varka said. My number one priority is making sure that this site is a fun and interesting place to participate in. Letting it get clogged up with creeps and murrypurryfurries is certainly not on the agenda.

Just because I tend to be nice and easy to get along with does not mean I'm going to expect the same out of everybody else. ;) I recognize that there are certain types of people out there that are just not going to be welcome on this site, and I'll do my best to ensure their presence is kept to a minimum.

Handling AGNPH users has been no easy task either, so this is nothing new to me. Thanks for wishing me luck though.

Well, you certainly seem to be an alright guy, and you do have plenty experience...well, glad to have you here. I hope that nobody gives you too much trouble.
