Hello,
I have uploaded one particular image which contains the character "Ralph_E_Wolf" from the "Sam The Sheepdog" series. Thing is, its the only picture with him in it on the site so his name (which I tagged) has come up as just a regular tag. I went to change this to a Character Tag to make it easier in future however I was unable to do so. When I searched for the tag in the Tag's section (with all the tags in on the site) and went to change the "Ralph_E_Wolf" Tag to a Character tag it said "Access Denied" and asked me to log in. I did so but it just repeated the "Access Denied" screen with the log in instruction again.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? If anyone is able to change the Ralph_E_Wolf tag to a characer tag I would be most gratefull or tell me how I can do it myself.

Only admins can make char tags, I think.

Put "char:" before the tag, and the dilemma on you on the access denied thing is probably for admins only.

Fixed.

in the edit tags area of a picture you can put Art: for artists and CHar: for characters. The access denied is an admin only section so null here helpfuly fixed it... wonder if i should make a basic thread for the char/art/et cetra tag additions and get it stikied? might help newcomers looking for the instructions (incase they missed the help pages)

Yes.

Type changing can be done either by prefixing the tag (char:) or changing the type using the dropdown on the tag's edit page. Either way works, and both work identically.

The problem is that only mods can change the type of a tag that has over a certain number of posts (I believe it's about 10 right now).
