Requesting these aliases:
face_marking -> facial_markings
facial_marking -> facial_markings
Reason:Consistency
(There were a few posts with the former 2 tags as well)
Edit:Unless they're supposed to be discrete tags?

I could justify doing this if there were a notable amount of tags for them, but the first one doesnt have any at all.

That's true,there aren't any now
Would future posts that might use the other tags be a problem to re-tag?
Always thought it would be easier to do an alias sooner rather than later,if the alternate aliases aren't in use.
But you do have a point there

Aliases done.

A tad bit off topic but should the patterns on the marking itself be tagged? Such as in post #209889 It seems to me it isn't really relevant and tags like "stripes" and "wings" should be reserved for the actual character.

That's a good point, since there (currently) doesn't seem to be a definite way to either search for or exclude specific tattoo designs
And with tattoos being a rather popular feature of most contemporary furry art, I feel there should be some way to search for/ exclude them in posts
If there's not much discussion in this topic about it,a new one should probably be made

After looking at the tag I've noticed it is also including facial markings such as fur pattern and natural coloring, not just patterns like tattoos and drawings. At the moment there are 19 pages so it's not just a few posts. Perhaps the two should be distinguished from one another. such as >fur_pattern referring to natural coloration and >facial_marking referring to like a tattoo.

If there are enough patterns of a specific style (such as a heart tattoo) then maybe the appropriate tags (such as >heart_marking or >heart_pattern) should be added and aliased to facial_marking. However, right now I don't think there are enough posts in need of this much special treatment but let's discuss
