Topic: New tag suggestion: "flood".

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

A "flood" tag seems like it would have some practical use. Like, when a user uploads 10 pages of a comic at once, for example, then those posts would automatically get the flood tag. And then users like me would have "flood" in their blacklist, that way we don't get bogged down by 10 pages of some comic when we look through the list of posts ;)

Just a quick idea.

There's nothing about the images that makes "flood" appropriate, unless there happens to be a lot of water, and possibly an arc that's filled with 2 of each kind of animal and the last bastion of humanity in the form of a family that plans to continue of the species via incest (or, in fine rule 34 tradition, forgo the future of humanity in favor of hot man-on-zoo or girl-on-zoo action).

Tags should describe image content; preferably the people, places, and things within an image, though some tags representing ideas are also allowed (see also "what" and "nightmare_fuel").

Edit: Also, mellis says "no". :)

Technically, there's already a tag that you'd be able to blacklist if you didn't want to see comics; "comic".

i'm still confused by the "afuck!" tag, but even that makes sense compared to "flood" based on multiple images rather than the image itself.

You'd still get bogged down by 10 pages of the same comic.

You would just have a huge number of images that are invisible squares to you.
