So as I was scrolling through e621, I noticed how long it takes to find a certain page of a search.

In order to get to the 38th page of a search, one must continue to click on the page 2 ahead of the existing one, starting from the first page, to arrive at the 38th page. The opposite is also an option and can be faster, but a shortcut would save time.

As I was typing this, I noticed it is possible to narrow your search by adding and subtracting tags. This would probably make a search quicker, but I still think a page shortcut would be nice.

Adding a daily poll would be cool to, if the website creators had the time.

Any other suggestions towards improving the site can go in this thread as well.

Polls are stupid, frankly and NOT the point of this site.

And why would you want to go to a random page in the results? If you're looking for a certain image, bookmark it or favorite it.

Polls are just public opinion, and I enjoy seeing everyone's view of a subject. Polls can be related to the site though.

Also, don't you have to find the image in order to favorite it?

I'm not demanding anything, just communicating. If you want to delete this thread and just shift it over to Arcturus' one fine by me.

If you just want to go to a specific page, you can modify the URL.
