Okay, extending riversyde's tag gender post, I want you guys to sit back and think when uploading, "Does this obvious fetish need to be put down before I upload it?"

If the answer you put is no, leave now. If I catch untagged obvious fetishes (or mlp for that matter) again, then I'm gonna start handing out demerits for failure to tag.

This crap is ridiculous, how are we supposed to get people to blacklist when others won't tag right?

How about disabling upload button if it has less than 5 tags?
After user adds tags , Upload button apears.
Also,upload should be unsuccessful if tags contain: "tag_me","Imlazysotagplz","blahblah" tags.

Or even better,offer buttons a side to click that are turned into tags after upload is done (like
Male\Female,
Solo- Yes\No,
Fetish- Scat\Gore\Vore
...etc)?

I always tag my stuff before I hit Upload button, and if I have lot of pics to upload I just have upload page opened at multitabs ,and click Upload when I'm done tagging them.

That idea is nice... but you're forgetting uploaders like ktkr, who tag after uploading. And there are some instances where it's hard to tag images, for whatever reason.

Some users prefer tagging them after upload,so they can see what they tag,without switching windows\multitasking.

tagme is added when there is no tags. it's a placeholder.

I don't mind cub porn,since I uploaded it myself.
So I think there should be 4 tag minimum,or else Upload fails.Just for fetishes and other stuff.

I think there should be Red Letters text at Upload page that suggest people to tag basic tags like:
female cub fox pussy

Also,even though its unrelated to this problem,but I think within those red letter message,there should be link that goes to DNP list.

That way we solve 2 problems in one.

I think that's a pretty reasonable thing. Yes, users reeeeeaaallllyyy ought to go a-browsing the Wiki before uploading, but it's a pretty long list. Not to mention "DNP Sexyfur" doesn't really explicitly say which artists. I don't know which artists are "sexyfur," as I don't pay for that site, and I'm willing to bet a lot of people who upload it get it from elsewhere and don't even know it's sexyfur.

Blahblahblah, so on so on. Sorry for the ramble, I'm actually a bit boozed just now, but my point is really that I agree with Branislav, and a touch of code would probably decrease the FFD queue and maybe prevent a few people from getting demerits and the like.

Is it really that difficult to tag something? I do my best on my uploads (All 8 of them) and yes, it can be anoying to do, but just list whatever you can see and it's done.

I want to post a better version of an existing image.
According to this article, the superior image's "parent" field should contain the post number of the inferior image:

The inferior image is then flagged for deletion.

But what about the inferior's tags?
Does e621 automatically copy them to the superior version when the inferior one is deleted?

Favorites are moved over, nothing else.

With the tags, feel free to copypaste the tags from the inferior post over to the new one, just remove irrelevant tags, and try to tag it better than they did.

Correction:
The inferior's "parent" field should contain the superior's post number.
In other words:
- inferior = child
- superior = parent

I think a lot of people are just really inconsiderate. They don't care that someone else might be offended by something they like, so they don't bother accommodating them.

I like Branislav's idea. How about requiring a minimum of 6 tags per image for say, the first 50 images uploaded for that account. That way, a lot of new users would get used to properly tagging their own uploads, and experienced users can still do the "post then tag" thing.

I meant program it in, not have all of the mods do it manually.

It's come up many, many times in the past. It's a problem because there's a few people who like to tag first, then upload (presumably so their tag box and the image are on the same page), and there's some images where you really can't come up with 6 tags.

This, editing tags isn't that hard, just take a couple seconds and add the tag yourself, you could probably do that faster than you could write a comment about how it wasn't tagged; that being said, people should still tag their posts. At least tag basic things like gender and species, and really obvious things like hardcore fetishes.

yes, its not hard tag "female" but... i hate when people dont tag "female" and "solo" Think about this. There comes like 40 female solo pics whitout those tags... and no one else adds those tags... think about how it feels to tag "female" and "solo" 40 times per day. And most furstrating thing is see pic where is EVERYTHING else tagget but not "female" or / and "solo"
