long/short_[COLOUR]_hair --> [COLOUR]_hair --> long/short_hair?

implicate to the color then alias to the length?

Whatever works I guess. -3-;;

So, for example, tagging "long_red_hair" would result in the tags "red_hair" and "long_hair"?

Sounds like a good idea.

Seconded.

I'm fairly certain that we can't alias a tag to two different tags.

Just alias it to the colour then?

Uh, couldn't you implicate tag XY to tag X, then alias tag XY to tag Y? tag XY would be gone but each would now be tagged with tag X and tag Y

Seems legitimate.

Someone pay this man his share of Win! Stat!

HUGE EDIT: Never mind...

No. Because then tag XY would be gone and the implication wouldn't work anymore.

But would it work for just the first time? After the implications are gone you just stop people from tagging with long_brown_hair etc. aliasing that to invalid_tag.

How about this

Step 1) Search for (length)_(color)_hair

Step 2) Edit the tag script

Step 3) To do this -(length)_(color)_hair (color)_hair (length)_hair

Step 4) Apply to images

Step 5) When a (length)_(color)_hair tag has been depleted, someone
need to alias it to either invalid_tag or (color)_hair

Step 6) Repeat until there is no more (length)_(color)_hair

Step 7) ?????

Step 8) PROFIT

And so are the aliases. Searching for long_blue_hair will now result in a search for blue_hair, and so forth.

Hair tags are messed up now. I tag hair colors onto things, and 'long_hair' and 'short_hair' both end up attached to them, when I specified neither.

There were no need for implications or aliases here. This all could have been easily fixed with some simple tag scripts. Now things appear to be quite fucked up.

the implications have been deleted. Now we just need to go through all the X_hair images and remove short_hair and/or long_hair where applicable. Best way to go about this is to search [color]_hair long_hair short_hair and remove whatever length_hair doesn't apply.
