The term is never actually referenced in the show, so I don't think that would help.

It's just a really obscure joke. I think it's a little funny, but I figured it out pretty quickly at first.

Also, I'm stupid apparently.

Well it's not really a tag but I think it's sort of odd that for a while "humanized MLP" was a valid FFD reason.

Now that I know what unshorn fetlocks are, I'm adding that tag to every (non-MLP) post I see that contains unshorn fetlocks.
