Anyway, to change a tag type, just edit a post with the tag on it and add char: before the tag (char:suel). That'll change the tag to the character type. Same works for artist:, gen:, and copyright:.

You can also just go to http://e621.net/tag/edit, type in the tag, select the correct type and hit Save.

I didn't change it so they could do it themselves and get some practical experience in the matter. We're not kindergarten teachers.

The site is requiring a special permission. Normal users aren't able to do that from there.

You can change a tag type by going to any image, clicking the Edit button, and entering...

character:(character) ----> Turns the tag into a character tag
artist:(artist) ----> Turns the tag into an artist tag
copyright:(copyright) ----> Turns the tag into a copyright tag.

I repeat: This can be done from any image post from the Edit button.
