You're right, they are worthless pools.

I also happened to notice that this comic pool is -really- poorly put together. It begins with the end page, goes in inverse order for a while, then the front cover appears 3/4 of the way through.

There also seem to be vandalized pools, which either contain nothing or content not at all related to the title.

I'm starting to think leaving my pools public isn't such a good idea.

there are also pools I think for girls wearing underpants, nazi furs, cats in general, and all sorts of nonsense that can easily be handled by just tags.

i really don't know what pools were originally implemented for but i can make a guess that they were added for images meant to be viewed in a certain sequence, like comics and such.
