since there is aparently no way to do it, this is now a petition (to get a feature added to E621 that allows us to keep track of out comments we make on picture posts.)

IF YOU'D LIKE TO BE ADDED MAKE A CLEAR COMMENT THAT YOU'D LIKE TO SEE THIS. IF YOU DONT WANT ON THE LIST, SIMPLY ASK :)

Depends on your weight and a few other things, but it'd definitely get me going. White wine is near the bottom of my drinks of choice though.

i dont think ited be ~too~ terribly difficult(not trying to make it look easy or anything, im not a programmer or w/e, what do i know lol) ited be similar to the faves/uploads thing right?

exept that its automatic...or not, it could work on a "keep track of posts" thing so you "fave" it and you get a note or w/e when that post gets replies.

(again, what do i know lol :P)

perhaps in the future the server will be updated or something an able to handle it ^.^

Plus, commenting is just a addition. It is NOT the primary focus of this site. Tracking comments per user in this fashion would require adding a new section, it'd add a lot of overhead with regards to caching (seeing as we have over 10k users), more complexity to the database..

As much as it'd make adminning comments easier, yeah, the overhead and efficiency issues for this and amount of code rewriting to do it would make it a fantastically colossal waste of time and resources, for something that would only add a small benefit to users at the cost of potentially crippling site performance and creating the possibility of adding a slew of new bugs because of how the system isn't set up to do this. Sorry, probably not going to happen. :(

Oh, well. Comments are fun, but the last thing we want to do is break the site with them.

You may already have a "server" that can keep track of your posts. Check your browsers and its ability to track web sites you visit. Some can be set to keep track of every URL you have visited and some even allow you to easily turn this on and off. You can then save your history for http://e621.net and thus, every post you have ever made here (or, at least, every page you have ever visted here). Not perfect, but better than nothing. Otherwise, visit the comment list page here and search every one during the dates you have visited here. The list is sorted by date of comment (with less and less granularity the further back you go).
